On today’s episode of The Daily T, Camilla and Tim are in Downing Street to react to Andy Burnham’s inaugural speech as Prime Minister, as Sir Keir Starmer’s departs from No.10 and hands the keys over to his successor.
As Starmer bids an emotional goodbye after two years at the helm of government, Burnham addresses the nation (sans-lectern) as the UK’s fifth prime minister in four years as he pledges a “circuit breaker” for Britain.
Camilla and Tim also discuss the new PM’s vision to “bring forward the biggest changes in the last 40 years”, including making ending rough sleeping his first priority when he walks through the doors.
