Inside Burnham’s first day at No 10 North

Since becoming prime minister on Monday, Prime Minister Andy Burnham has been to Somerset, Essex and Glasgow.

Now he is back in Manchester, spending his first day working at the brand new No 10 North.

Gathering together cabinet ministers, civil servants and regional mayors at the office he says will be the "nerve centre for a rewired Britain", he declared "this might be the best day of my life".
