Lionel Messi produced a stunning four-goal performance as Inter Miami thrashed CF Montreal 7-1 in MLS. Messi scored twice before adding two more late goals, including a stoppage-time free kick, while assisting Luis Suárez.

Carlos Casimiro and Alexander Shaw also scored for Miami.

The victory marked Miami’s fifth straight win over Montreal and their first since July.
