Gordie Howe International Bridge open delayed over “outstanding issues”

The opening of a Canadian-U.S. bridge, that President Donald Trump previously threatened to block, has been delayed.

A ribbon cutting ceremony for the Gordie Howe International Bridge connecting Windsor, Ont., and Detroit, Mich., was scheduled to take place Friday.

But as Global’s Mackenzie Gray reports, the long-awaited opening is now in limbo as officials work to resolve what the bridge authority calls “outstanding issues.”
