Farage’s by-election is a catastrophe for Right-wing Britain | Analysis

I’m all for rolling the dice, for high-risk, high-payoff gambits, for turning crises into opportunities, but Nigel Farage has made a rare miscalculation in calling a by-election in Clacton.

He seems to have allowed his emotions, some justified, others less so, to get the better of him, hasn’t handled the stories about his party’s affairs well, has reverted to his comfort zone and has been outmanoeuvred by his enemies.
