French State in turmoil as it faces criticism over child protection
The mother of an alleged victim of the main suspect in a girl's killing is to sue the French State and the minister of Justice over how minor-related cases are dealt with.
This comes after thousands of people protested in Paris on June 8 amid public outrage over the death of an 11-year-old girl.
The main suspect in her disappearance and killing had already been flagged multiple times in minor-related cases.
