Despite low error rate, Nevada may still need to pay millions to continue SNAP benefits
The state has until the end of September to bring the payment error rate under 6 percent.
If it can't, Nevada would join the large majority of states now bracing to cover part of their SNAP benefit costs starting in October 2027.
