Drones have become a major part of modern warfare but the vast majority still require a human to control them.
But companies are now developing drones that are powered by AI and can operate autonomously.
A recent report in “New Scientist” claimed that for the first time, fully autonomous drones have actually been used to deadly effect on the battlefield in Ukraine.
