A Lebanese journalist wounded in an Israeli airstrike that killed her colleague describes hours of agony as they waited for help.
Zeinab Faraj, a freelance photographer, was with Amal Khalil, a correspondent for Al-Akhbar, when their car was hit Wednesday.
They were covering the post-ceasefire situation in southern Lebanon.
Faraj says they took shelter after a first strike, but a second hit Khalil’s car.
Faraj managed to find refuge in a shop.
A third strike later hit their shelter, trapping Khalil.
Rescue teams eventually evacuated Faraj, but Khalil was found dead.
Faraj believes Khalil could have survived with faster help.
