'He was attacked': Teen injured by coyotes in Orleans

CTV News CTV News — 2min

A recent coyote attack in Orleans left a 14-year-old boy injured after he was ambushed while riding his bike in the Lalande Conservation Area.

CTV's Kimberley Johnson reports that the teen fought off three coyotes by throwing his helmet before sprinting to safety and being taken to CHEO with wounds to his left leg.

Orléans councillor Catherine Kitts says multiple city departments are assessing the situation.

The city has posted warning signs in the park as it monitors the coyote den.
