The UK's fourth heatwave of the summer is expected to peak today with temperatures of up to 35 degrees across south-east England.
The Met Office is warning that any wildfires that start could be exceptionally severe because of the hot, dry conditions.
An amber heat health alert is in place until Thursday for the East Midlands, and East and South-East England.
