'100 targets in 10 minutes': Lebanon hit by wave of Israeli strikes

At least 254 people have been killed in a wave of Israeli strikes on Lebanon, according to the country's civil defence service.

It comes after the Israeli military said it launched the largest coordinated strike on Lebanon of its renewed war with Iran-backed Hezbollah, after saying the two-week ceasefire did not apply there.

The White House has also said tonight it doesn't view the ceasefire as applying to Lebanon, but Iran and Pakistan disagree.

Residents said some strikes came without the usual warnings.
