Punjab class 10 board results show 94.52% pass rate; rural students outperform urban peers; Harleen Sharma tops with 99.38%

Punjab Education Minister Harjot Singh Bains announced Class 10 board results showing rural students outperforming urban peers, with a 95.35% pass rate versus 92.98% in cities.

Overall, 2.54 lakh of 2.69 lakh students passed, achieving 94.52%.

Harleen Sharma topped the state with 99.38%.

Bains credited education reforms, infrastructure upgrades and teacher training under ‘Sikhya Kranti’, calling the results a historic shift toward equitable educational opportunity across Punjab in line with government reforms initiative drive efforts.
