Man convicted of murdering TikToker dies in prison

A man in his 50s who was sentenced to 40 years in prison for killing a female TikToker in her 20s has died while in custody, legal sources said Wednesday.

According to legal sources, the man was found after an apparent suicide attempt at Anyang Prison at around 2:20 a.m. Wednesday.

He had been detained on charges including murder, abandoning a body and special obstruction of official duties.
