Jensen Huang throws out ceremonial pitch before KBO game
Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang tossed the ceremonial first pitch before a baseball game in Seoul on Sunday, the latest public appearance by the popular business executive during his short trip filled with many.
Huang's pitch marked the start of a Korea Baseball Organization (KBO) game between the home team Doosan Bears and the Kiwoom Heroes at Jamsil Baseball Stadium in Seoul.
Huang donned a Bears jersey with No. 93, a nod to his company's founding year of 1993.
Doosan Group Chairman Park Jeong-won, owner of the Bears, stood in the batter's box in a No. 96 Bears jersey, signifying the group's founding year of 1896.
Before throwing the pitch from just in front of the mound, Huang grabbed the stadium PA mic to thank the fans in the stands for welcoming him and his family, as well as his company, to South Korea. "Nvidia and Korea PC gaming, and Nvidia and Korea's technology industry grew up together," Huang said.
