Closure of Mackay private hospital 'makes everything worse', GP says

The 34-bed Mackay Private Hospital is closing its doors with the operator citing "rising operational and maintenance" costs.

People who have been treated there say it is a huge loss for physical and mental rehabilitation care in the north Queensland.
