Councillor draws up own road plans to block Fillongley traffic lights

A Warwickshire County Council portfolio holder has drawn up his own junction plans in a bid to prevent traffic lights being installed at Fillongley crossroads, despite highways professionals backing the £2.6 million HS2-funded scheme as the safest option to tackle the collision hotspot.
