Belgium players taunt Trump after knocking hosts US out of World Cup

The United States have been knocked out of the World Cup in a match marred by the intervention of Donald Trump.

The hosts turned in a limp display to be beaten 4-1 by Belgium.

But the game was given extra spice after the US president said before the match he had asked FIFA to review a red card given to Folarin Balogun.

FIFA then suspended the card and rejected Belgium's appeal, meaning America's star striker was free to play in the game, a decision condemned by UEFA.
