Jang Mi-ran's body location raises questions over circumstances of death

Questions are growing over the circumstances of Jang Mi-ran's death after her body was found Monday at a palm tree farm on Jeju Island, about 400 meters from her long-term accommodation.

Jang left the accommodation at around 10:15 p.m. on May 12.

Although less than a 10-minute walk away, the farm is in a secluded area. "I don't understand it either," Jang's boyfriend told TV Chosun. "She repeatedly told me the place scared her when passing by, so I can't understand why she would be found there."
