‘Completely Wrong’: Starmer Accuses Farage Of ‘Creating Division’ Over Henry Nowak Murder

Irish Mirror Irish Mirror — 4min

Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer responds to the Henry Nowak murder case after watching the harrowing bodycam footage showing the dying student being handcuffed by police.

Speaking in Downing Street, Starmer said he “felt sick” watching the footage and said there are serious questions for police to answer, including how accusations of racism may have influenced decision-making during the incident.

The Prime Minister also criticised Reform UK leader Nigel Farage over his call for “pure, cold rage”, accusing him of trying to “create division” and insisting Henry Nowak’s family do not want the case to be “whipped up”.

The IOPC is investigating the police response as pressure grows for answers over Henry Nowak’s death, the handling of the incident, and whether a wider inquiry may be needed.
