Royals snap 8-game losing streak with 6-5 win over Orioles

Maikel Garcia scored the game-ending run on Ryan Helsley’s second wild pitch as the Kansas City Royals rallied for a 6-5 win over the Baltimore Orioles.

Helsley walked two to open the ninth inning before tossing the decisive wild pitches.

Lucas Erceg worked around a leadoff ninth-inning walk as the Royals snapped an eight-game losing streak.

Adley Rutschman returned from the injured list, hitting a two-run homer in the eighth for a 5-4 Orioles lead.

Michael Massey answered with his first homer of the year to tie the game.

Coby Mayo gave Baltimore a 3-0 second-inning lead with his first home run of the year.

Kyle Isbel had three hits and scored twice.
