Israel-Lebanon ceasefire comes into effect as flares shoot in the sky in Beirut

A 10-day ceasefire between Israel and Lebanon - announced by Donald Trump - has now come into effect with flares shooting into the sky in Beirut.

There has been reports of strikes in both northern Israel and southern Lebanon - including people being killed and seriously injured - in the hours leading up to the ceasefire.
