Footballer dies after robbers attack team bus

Ghanaian footballer Dominic Frimpong has died after armed robbers attacked his Berekum Chelsea FC team bus returning from an away match.

Masked gunmen fired at the bus in Ashanti Region, forcing players to flee.

Frimpong was shot, later dying in hospital.

The Ghana FA called it a tragic loss, mourning the 20-year-old rising star.
