2 workers killed in blast at firecracker unit in Tamil Nadu’s Theni

Two young workers, Dinesh and Surya Prabhu, tragically died in a blast at a firecracker unit in Cumbum, Theni district.

The incident occurred when they opened a chemical mixing room after a period of inactivity, leading to a sudden explosion.

Police are investigating the licensed unit, "Lakshmi Fireworks."
