Apple to shut down three retail stores in US, including its first unionized outlet
Apple is closing three US retail stores in June, including the Towson Town Center location, which was the first Apple store where employees unionized.
The company cited declining mall conditions and the departure of other retailers as reasons for the closures.
Employees at the affected stores will be eligible to apply for roles at nearby locations or other Apple positions.
