Escalating gang violence in Haiti’s capital Port-au-Prince has left at least 78 people dead in recent days and forced thousands to flee their homes.
The city remains largely under the control of rival armed groups engaged in ongoing clashes that have paralysed daily life and overwhelmed already fragile services.
