The Castellon wildfire continues to rage across eastern Spain, burning more than 8,500 hectares of land.
The World Meteorological Organization said meteorological conditions have created the ideal conditions for fire behavior across Spain and other parts of Western Europe, such as successive heatwaves, parched soils and worsening drought.
