The estate of a Greater Sudbury firefighter who died six years ago has won a benefits battle against the city.
An arbitrator ruled Greater Sudbury breached its collective agreement and must pay benefits to the family of Peter St. Denis, a veteran firefighter who died of occupational cancer in 2020.
