BBC demands Trump’s messages to prove he caused Jan 6 riots

Donald Trump claims he didn’t cause the Jan 6 riots.

But now the BBC has the near-impossible task of proving he did.

At least, that’s how the national broadcaster is hoping to win a $10bn defamation lawsuit brought against it by the president.

A lawsuit that could see the former BBC Director-General Tim Davie forced to testify under oath.
