Androulakis: ‘Junta relied on powerful political and economic centers’

The military regime that governed Greece for seven years before it collapsed on July 24, 1974 relied on political and economic interests for its survival, opposition leader Nikos Androulakis said on Tuesday, marking the 59th anniversary of the coup.
