Families dealing with life-limiting illnesses are receiving critical support from CHEO. CTV's Katie Griffin profiles 17-year-old Mirai Josiah and his mother Lillian, who navigate his diagnosis of Dravet syndrome, a severe form of epilepsy.

Dr. Rohail Kumar, a palliative care pediatrician at the Roger Neilson Children's Hospice, says the facility partners with CHEO to provide emotional and psychological support to patients experiencing brain mutations and unrelenting seizures.
