Ex-CIA Director Slams Trump’s ‘Deliberate’ Cover-Up

Former CIA Director and Secretary of Defense Leon Panetta says the Trump administration’s approach to releasing casualty information about the Iran war has been “shameful.”

Aside from announcing that 18 American soldiers have been killed, there has been little released by the Pentagon about those injured by Iran or the extent of damage inflicted on American bases and equipment.

Panetta, who oversaw the assassination of Osama Bin Laden during the presidency of Barack Obama, says Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth is handling the release of information about Iran all wrong.
