PM’s Office ‘Dismissive’ of Mandelson Vetting: Official
Olly Robbins, the top UK bureaucrat who granted clearance for Peter Mandelson to take up the role as US ambassador against the recommendation of security officials, said Prime Minister Keir Starmer’s office had a “dismissive approach” to Mandelson’s vetting.
He made the comments during a testimony before lawmakers in London.
