John Ternus is replacing Tim Cook as Apple CEO. But he faces a big challenge in AI

Currently a vice-president of hardware engineering with Apple, Ternus has overseen the product design of much of the company's tech, from AirPods to the Macbook Neo.

But Apple has struggled on the AI front in recent years, and how Ternus will approach it remains a question.
