Starmer shown 'series of very poor political judgement,' says Lib Dems leader

The leader of the Liberal Democrats Ed Davey says on the "vetting process - there's no doubt Starmer was using that as his main defence to justify decisions which many criticised - the decision to appoint Mandelson".

"On many levels the prime minister showed catastrophic misjudgement and that's why we have said he needs to go," he adds.
