Eleven people have been taken to hospitals with injuries after emergency officials responded to a boat explosion north of Miami.
The Miami-Dade Fire Rescue agency says more than two dozen rescue units responded to the incident around 12:48 p.m. Saturday near Haulover Sandbar.
Crews encountered multiple patients requiring medical attention.
The agency has not provided additional information about the condition of the injured.
The response also included the U.S. Coast Guard and the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission.
