Three-year-old boy pulled living from the rubble as Venezuela quake toll nears 2,000

The confirmed death toll from the twin earthquakes that rocked Venezuela has reached nearly 2,000, National Assembly president Jorge Rodriguez said Tuesday.

While some 50,000 people remain unaccounted for, Jordanian rescue teams pulled a three-year-old boy from the rubble, where he'd managed to survive six days since the catastrophe.
