Qatar is mourning the death of its former ruler, Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, the leader widely credited with transforming the country into a global energy and diplomatic power.
Funeral services were held on Sunday and he was laid to rest in the Qatari capital as tributes pour in from around the world.
