Harry Kane strikes again as Bayern beats Leverkusen 2-0 to reach German Cup final
Harry Kane and Luis Díaz have fired Bayern Munich into the German Cup final with a 2-0 win at Bayer Leverkusen.
Kane’s first-half strike and a goal from Díaz in stoppage time were enough for Bayern to advance to a final against Stuttgart or Freiburg in Berlin’s Olympiastadion on May 23.
It will be Bayern’s first appearance in the final since beating Leverkusen 4-2 to seal a domestic double in 2000.
The win keeps Bayern on course for a treble of trophies.
Bayern clinched the Bundesliga title on Saturday and faces title holder Paris Saint-Germain in the semifinals of the Champions League.
