Rapper Kodak Black arrested on drug trafficking charge in central Florida
Rapper Kodak Black has been arrested on a drug trafficking charge in central Florida.
He was booked into the Orange County Jail on Wednesday for trafficking MDMA, also known as ecstasy or molly.
On Thursday, he entered a written plea of not guilty and requested a jury trial.
His arrest followed a police encounter in Orlando in December.
Officers found a pink bag containing MDMA, $37,000, and documents with his name during a vehicle search.
The bag matched one seen in a photo on his Instagram.
Kodak Black has faced previous legal issues, including drug-related charges and a commuted prison sentence.
