Hong Kong appoint Roberto Losada as head coach

Roberto Losada has been appointed Hong Kong manager, fending off challenges from more than 300 rivals to replace former boss Ashley Westwood.
In interim charge for the past six months, the Spain-born Losada began his temporary reign with a series of exhibition matches, in the Guangdong-Hong Kong Cup, then Lunar New Year Cup.
Losada’s first competitive game was a 2-1 Asian Cup qualifying defeat by India in March.
