England manager Thomas Tuchel explains his surprise World Cup squad selection to Sky News

Thomas Tuchel has told Sky News his England players are looking for "clarity" in how they play as he unveiled his surprise World Cup squad.

There were surprises galore, with Phil Foden, Cole Palmer, Trent Alexander-Arnold and Harry Maguire all left out.

"I think from day one, we were very clear that we are trying to select and build the best possible team, which is not necessarily to select and collect the 26 most talented players," Tuchel said.
