The Trump administration is fast-tracking the psychedelic drug Ibogaine for research and approval in the United States.
Proponents of the drug say just one dose can erase drug addiction, significantly improve mental health issues and even heal traumatic brain injuries.
But there have been no long-term clinical studies into the drug’s efficacy or safety.
