4 wounded in West Side shooting: Fire Department

Four people were shot and seriously wounded Monday evening in the Austin neighborhood on the West Side, according to the Chicago Fire Department.

Paramedics responded around 7:30 p.m. and found the victims near Madison Street and Lockwood Avenue, according to CFD spokeswoman Katherine Peyton-Chaney.

They were all taken to hospitals in serious-to-critical condition, she said.

Chicago police have not released any information about the shooting.
