Labour MP threatening to challenge Starmer is 'completely wrong', says minister

Bridget Phillipson tells Sky News that Catherine West "is a great colleague" and that she has "real respect for her" - but that "she's got this completely wrong".

West has told Sir Keir Starmer he must set out a timeline for his departure or she will launch a leadership challenge against him on Monday.

The former junior Foreign Office minister surprised her colleagues by delivering the threat - and it's received a mixed reaction within the party.
