McDaniels irks Nuggets with late layup that triggers shoving from Jokic
The Denver-Minnesota rivalry took another dramatic turn in the closing seconds of Game 4 when Nuggets star Nikola Jokic ran across the court to confront Jaden McDaniels after he took an uncontested layup with the Timberwolves on the way to victory with 2.1 seconds left.
Jokic shoved McDaniels and was ejected.
Timberwolves forward Julius Randle was too.
McDaniels spiced up the series after Game 2 by declaring Denver’s team was full of “bad defenders." Minnesota leads the first-round NBA playoff series 3-1.
