Jet fuel shortage plans revealed for holidaymakers

Airlines and passengers are being given more certainty over their summer holiday flights as the effects of global jet fuel shortages become apparent.

The transport secretary Heidi Alexander has been discussing contingency plans with bosses that would avoid costly disruptions to both airlines and their passengers.
