Sir Rod Stewart told the King he had put “that little ratbag in his place”, in reference to Donald Trump.
The veteran singer congratulated the monarch for his “absolutely superb” visit to the US last month, at a celebration of the 50th anniversary of the King’s Trust at the Royal Albert Hall on Monday.
