'Timmy' the stranded whale rescued, returned to North Sea
A humpback whale, affectionately named 'Timmy', was successfully released into the North Sea off Denmark after a daring rescue operation.
The whale, which had repeatedly beached itself near Germany's coast, was transported on a specially equipped barge.
Despite initial skepticism and some minor injuries, Timmy swam off independently, heading towards the Arctic.
