Trump says he won’t apologize to Pope Leo

U.S. President Donald Trump said he would not apologize for sharply criticizing Pope Leo saying that the pontiff “went public” in his criticisms of the war in Iran.

Trump was asked by a reporter outside the Oval Office if he would apologize after Minnesota Bishop Robert Barron, whose popular conservative Word on Fire ministry has made him a Catholic media star, said Trump should say he's sorry.
